The Indian smartphone market is about to witness a significant shift in battery technology. Realme has officially confirmed the upcoming launch of the Realme P4 Power 5G in India. This new addition to the P series lineup is making headlines primarily for its record breaking battery capacity. While many modern flagships are still hovering around the 5000mAh mark Realme is ready to push the boundaries further than ever before.
A dedicated microsite is already live on Flipkart teasing the key features and design of the device. This launch marks a strategic move by the company to target users who prioritize long lasting power without wanting to carry a bulky power bank everywhere. With a launch date expected around January 29 2026 the excitement among tech enthusiasts is at an all time high.
The Game Changing 10001mAh Titan Battery
The standout feature of the Realme P4 Power 5G is undoubtedly its massive 10001mAh battery. This makes it the first mainstream smartphone in India to feature a battery capacity in the five digit range. Realme has focused heavily on longevity claiming that the battery will maintain 80 percent health even after 1650 charging cycles. This translates to roughly eight years of battery health guarantee which is a bold promise for any mobile device.
Despite the humongous battery size the phone remains surprisingly manageable. It reportedly weighs around 219 grams which is comparable to many current flagship devices that have half the battery capacity. To keep this massive cell fueled the phone is expected to support 80W wired fast charging. Additionally it will feature 27W reverse charging allowing users to use their smartphone as a portable power source for other gadgets like wireless earbuds or secondary phones.
Performance And HyperVision AI Technology
Under the hood the Realme P4 Power 5G is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset. This processor is built on a 4nm process and is designed to provide a balance between high performance and power efficiency. To further enhance the user experience Realme is incorporating a dedicated HyperVision plus AI chip. This secondary chip is expected to optimize imaging tasks and display performance ensuring smooth operation even during heavy gaming sessions.
The device is expected to come with up to 12GB of physical RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. On the software side it will likely be one of the first devices to ship with Android 16 based Realme UI 7.0 out of the box. Realme has also committed to providing three years of major Android OS updates and four years of security patches giving the device a long and reliable shelf life.
Immersive 144Hz AMOLED Display And Design
Realme has not compromised on the visual experience either. The Realme P4 Power 5G is expected to feature a 6.78 inch quad curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The most impressive part of the screen is the 144Hz refresh rate which will offer buttery smooth scrolling and an advantage in competitive mobile gaming. With peak brightness levels reaching up to 4500 nits visibility under direct sunlight should not be an issue.
The design of the phone is equally unique featuring what the brand calls a TransView design. The top half of the rear panel has a semi transparent finish that reveals internal inspired detailing like a copper coil pattern. This is paired with a matte finish on the lower half to prevent fingerprint smudges. The phone will be available in three distinct color options TransSilver TransOrange and TransBlue.
Advanced Camera System And Durability
For photography the Realme P4 Power 5G is rumored to house a triple rear camera setup. This includes a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization to ensure steady and clear shots even in low light. Accompanying the main sensor is an 8MP ultra wide lens and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. On the front a 16MP camera will handle selfies and video calls.
Durability is another area where Realme has stepped up. The device is expected to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. This means the phone can withstand immersion in water and high pressure water jets making it one of the most rugged devices in the mid to premium segment.
Expected Price And Availability
While the official price is yet to be announced leaked retail box images suggest a price tag of around 37999 Rupees for the 12GB plus 256GB variant. However the actual market price is expected to be lower potentially starting under 30000 Rupees for base models. The phone will be available for purchase through Flipkart and the official Realme India website following its late January launch.
