Xiaomi is finally going to launch its Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone for the Indian market. The brand will uncover its flagship smartphone in the country on February 26, 2023.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will come with a premium metal frame and options of leather back or a ceramic rear panel. The smartphone will boast a curved 6.78-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display with a WQHD+ resolution (1440 x 3200 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 1900 nits. The display is featured with Dolby Vision and is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will run by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and coming to the optics, the device is equipped with a triple rear camera setup featuring a Leica-tuned Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and Hyper OIS. The ancillary cameras include a 50MP telephoto sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and 3.2x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. For selfie aficionados, there’s a 32MP sensor at the front.
Some other noticeable features of the Xiaomi 13 Pro include an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IP68 rating for water/dust resistance, stereo speakers, 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.3NFC, UFS 4.0 memory, GPS (L1+L5), and a USB Type-C port among others. The device is powered with a 4820mAh battery coupled with 120W wired fast charging support. It also features a 50W wireless fast charging tech.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro is priced at CNY 4,999 (approx. â‚ą60,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant in the Chinese market. Expect a similar starting price when it arrives in India.
