In accordance with a teaser posted on Amazon India, Tecno will soon launch its Pova 5 series smartphones in India. The series will most likely consist of two models: the Tecno Pova 5 and the Pova 5 Pro.
The teaser shows an appealing design with light LEDs on the back, which are most likely used as notification indications. This feature was also highlighted by tipster Ishans Aggarwal in a teaser hands-on video. Surprisingly, the design appears to be based on the Tecno Pova Neo 3, which the firm has been teasing in recent days. Because the Pova 5 has already been launched abroad, we should expect a similar offering to appear in India soon.
The Tecno Pova 5 has a huge 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with a 10802460 pixel resolution. In addition, the screen has an amazing 120Hz refresh rate and a super-responsive 240Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by a mid-range Helio G99 SoC with a substantial 8GB of RAM, ensuring smooth performance for a variety of applications.
This device’s outstanding feature is its huge 6,000mAh battery, which enables 45W rapid charging. You can charge the battery to 50% in 21 minutes and fully charge it in 60 minutes using the included in-box charger. Furthermore, the Pova 5 offers 10W reverse charging, allowing you to use it to charge other devices.
