The Tecno Pop 7 Pro is ready to launch in India on February 16 after it launched in Africa earlier this month. Tecno, the Chinese smartphone maker, announced the launch of the smartphone on twitter.
The Tecno Pop 7 Pro flaunts a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch at the top and a refresh rate of 60Hz with pixel density of 269 ppi. Coming to the design, the phone features a geometric pattern surrounding a square camera island at the rear and moving to the cameras, the Pop 7 Pro has a dual camera setup comprising a 13MP primary camera and a QVGA depth sensor. The camera island also contains a dual-LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. At the front, there’s a 5MP selfie camera.
The Tecno Pop 7 Pro will be run by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device could be available with 3GB/4GB RAM paired with 64GB internal storage. The smartphone will have a 5,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging. In terms of software, the Pop 7 Pro runs on Android 12 with a layer of HiOS 12 on top. For network connectivity, the handset will support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPC. It will include a USB Type-C 2.0.
Tecno Pop 7 Pro will be launched in India on February 16, it’s unclear whether the Indian model will be the same as the one launched in Africa. The smartphone is rumoured to arrive in Turquoise Cyan and Atlantic Blue colorways. The Tecno Pop 7 Pro is reported to be available for purchase in India via Flipkart.
