Realme will have a launch event at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 28, unveiling the Realme GT 3. It will be the first smartphone to bring 240W fast charging in markets outside China, effectively giving Realme the first dibs to the technology among other BBK brands. Realme has revealed the capabilities of the 240W charger, giving a glimpse of the speed at which it can charge its smartphones way ahead of its launch. Amazingly, the charger can top up the battery to full charge in less than 10 minutes.
The Realme GT 3 will be the first to power with 240W fast charging out of the box. The 240W charging brick can top up the Realme GT 3 to full charge in just 9 minutes 30 seconds. Excitingly, the smartphone can be powered up to 20% in just 80 seconds. The company posted a video demonstrating the same. That said, this is not the first time the charging speed is being showcased. Realme has launched the Realme GT Neo 5 in China with the same charging technology. The company states that it is the world’s fastest charging technology. It’s expected that the global variant of the Realme GT 3 will be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 5.
