Realme Watch 5 launched in India with GPS and AMOLED

Competition just got fiercer in the Indian smartwatch market because the Realme Watch 5 has finally arrived officially. Unveiling on December 4, 2025, alongside the Realme P4x 5G, this new wearable promises to offer a high-end, feature-rich experience at a highly competitive price. The Realme Watch 5 price in India is set at an MOP of ₹4,499, and an attractive introductory offer further drops it to just ₹3,999, making it a powerful competitor against the offerings by Noise and boAt.

The Realme Watch 5 zeroes in on three key touchpoints: striking yet robust design, enhanced health and fitness tracking, and remarkable battery stamina, making it the undisputed choice for budget-conscious fitness enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers.

Premium Design Meets Durability

The first thing users will notice about the Realme Watch 5 is a high-end aesthetic: it features a metallic uni-body construction and an aluminum alloy functional crown, giving it a premium feel one might normally associate with much more expensive smartwatches. The large, rectangular case and rugged styling have led to comparisons with high-end outdoor wearables; it’s a flagship look without a flagship price.

The whole visual experience is really anchored on the bright, sharp 1.97-inch AMOLED display; the large-sized screen features 390 x 450 pixels with the peak brightness reaching up to 600 nits for excellent visibility indoors and outdoors. Moreover, it’s built to withstand the elements and carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring peace of mind during workouts, rainy days, and swimming sessions. Comfortable wearability is increased by its 3D Wave strap, even over longer periods.

Independent GPS and Health Tracking

One of the major upgrades in the Realme Watch 5 comes with independent GPS. This important addition allows users to track their outdoors, like running, cycling, and hiking, without carrying their smartphone. The watch supports five GNSS systems, hence assuring better accuracy and reliable route mapping.

Health monitoring is comprehensive and includes everything essential for a modern user:

  • Heart Rate Monitoring: Continuous, 24-hour tracking
  • SpO2 Monitoring: On-demand measurement of blood oxygen saturation
  • Sleep Tracking: In-depth analysis of sleep stages.
  • Stress management: Continuous stress monitoring.
  • 108 Sports Modes: Everything from yoga to cricket, outdoor runs to guided workouts.

The addition of Bluetooth calling, enabled via an inbuilt microphone and speaker, and the support for NFC for payments where available, further enhances the utility of the watch as a true companion to the smartphone. Users get over 300 customizable watch faces through the Realme Link app.

Unstoppable Battery Stamina

The phenomenal battery life is a standout feature that sets the Realme Watch 5 apart from many competitors. The smartwatch is powered by a large 460mAh battery, which the company rates for up to 16 days of standard use. In Light Mode, this would stretch usage time to an impressive 20 days for power savers. This exceptionally long endurance eliminates frequent charging anxiety, making it ideal for travelers and long-duration fitness training.

Realme Watch 5 demonstrates Realme’s commitment to not only competing in the Indian AIoT space but leading it. It also has been manufactured in India through Optiemus Electronics under the “Make in India” initiative.

The first sale of the highly anticipated wearable is scheduled for December 10, 2025, on Flipkart, Realme’s official online store, and mainline retail channels.
