In addition, the Smart TV X Pro series, which comprises the first Xiaomi TV models to incorporate Google TV, was announced. There are three display sizes available in this lineup: 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch. The smart TV range begins at Rs 32,999. We got the 55-inch model, which was priced at Rs 47,999.
Design
The bezel-less Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro series model includes metallic frames. The bottom of the rear panel is constructed of carbon fibre, while the remainder of the body is composed of hard plastic. The overall construction of the TV is fairly solid, and the product’s finishing gives it a premium appearance.
Display and Performance
This display supports 4K Ultra HD resolution and is powered by Xiaomi’s own Vivid Picture Engine 2. Dolby Vision-enhanced displays provide 94% DCI-P3 coverage. It’s a visually appealing TV with vibrant colours and deep blacks. On the TV that supports HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG, 4K HDR video appeared very lifelike.
Audio
This TV boasts a 40W bottom-firing speaker configuration that produces adequate audio. Users should bear in mind, however, that only the 50-inch and 55-inch models in the lineup feature a 40W speaker setup, while the 47-inch variant has a 30W setup.
Verdict
In its default settings, the TV did not appear to perform to its full potential. If you decide to purchase this Dolby Vision IQ TV, be prepared to experiment with both audio and video settings. The TV will function better after the settings are in place and tailored to your tastes.
